Bluebells and a Fairy Tale

Bluebells are very much on my mind. Their dark green, knife-like leaves are a few inches tall in the front garden although a long way off flowering and I’m reading “Some Kind of Fairy Tale” by Graham Joyce in which bluebells feature prominently. I didn’t know this when I borrowed it, it’s one of those lovely moments of synchronicity.

Also my local tourist information centre has agreed to stock some of my Spring-themed greetings cards of the local area and four of the six designs include bluebells. All of these images were created digitally using photos as inspiration.

They are available in our shop, simply click on an image to go there.

With yesterday’s equinox it really feels like Spring is here and I’m looking forward to losing myself in the heady scent of bluebells in the woods.

Warm wishes,

Laura
