The preview to the “Land Water Sky” exhibition at the Open Gallery, Halifax, West Yorks, UK was held last evening.
“Oban Sunset No. 5”
The sunsets in Oban, Scotland are spectacular.
In this piece the dark silhouette of the Isle of Kerrera is surrounded by the vibrant, warm colours of the sinking sun.
“Flying Dutchman.”
The Flying Dutchman is a frequent visitor to the north pier in Oban, Scotland.

The dramatic sky and sea take centre stage at sunset across Oban Bay in Scotland and the silhouettes of the islands of Mull and Kerrera become the supporting act.
